Lucy's space-dyed version

Here is the promised Lucy's space dyed version of the 8 row stitch pattern.

As you can see, spaced dyed yarns do not give much definition even in two contrasting colors. Here I used a yellow/ orange/ pink shown in the bands and a green/ mustard for the background color. Since I knew how this looks in solids and long color change yarns, I thought why not! I have a new Granddaughter and lots of space dyed yarns! This yarn may have been better utilized in a larger color sectioned garment or a full project.....

Lucy is not big enough to model her new sweater yet.... I hope I get to see her in it this fall!
